About this Project
The design and development of a new public space in central Metchosin is being actively explored by the Healthy Communities Advisory Select Committee.

Phase I is already underway, focusing on research and citizen engagement to clarify needs, potential benefits and key amenities. Depending upon Phase I results, Phase II may occur later this year to outline and develop site concept plans.

Project Vision
To build an accessible and attractive public space in central Metchosin where residents can easily gather, be active, and meet new community members of all ages.

Hearing from residents is a key aspect of the project. The findings from this survey and other engagement activities (e.g. discussions with community organizations and public events) will help guide the project and its next steps.
