Jasper Resident Questionnaire - open

About the Project
Council wants to hear from residents and businesses on Jasper’s culture and recreation facilities and services. Municipal recreation infrastructure is in great need of upgrades, with approximately $13M required in the next few years just to sustain existing facilities. This may result in debt financing and tax increases, even without consideration of possible additional services or facilities.

Prior to making more decisions on the future of culture and recreation facilities and services in Jasper, Council wants to know which services and facilities Jasperites value most, which should continue, which could be discontinued or repurposed, and whether any new offerings should be added. To inform this decision making, the Municipality is undertaking a Culture and Recreation Facilities Review and has retain RC Strategies+PERC, a consulting firm specializing in community services planning, to conduct the project in collaboration with the Municipality. The findings from this Questionnaire and other engagement and research being conducted will help inform the outcomes of the project.
