Your participation in this pulse survey will inform the ASCA Board of Directors on parents’ perspectives during Alberta school re-entry in the Fall of 2020. 

This survey was created using a research instrument designed by the Alberta Teachers' Association who used guidance from a World Health Organization (WHO) insight research survey tool and a Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) measurement scale. Elements of the survey were created or further adapted for the Alberta context by Dr Philip McRae and Dr Lisa Everitt of the Alberta Teachers' Association, in partnership with Dr Lynora Saxinger, Associate Professor, University of Alberta, Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases.

Survey Participation
This survey is totally voluntary and you are free to skip some of the questions in the survey. In addition, all responses will be confidential. Only aggregate data will be reported. No data from open-ended questions that might identify an individual respondent will be used without permission. You are free to withdraw from the survey any time up until the end of the survey. Because this is an anonymous research survey, once results are submitted it is not possible to withdraw.

Consent and Privacy Protection
The data collected in this survey will be used, and disclosed by the Alberta School Councils' Association. The Alberta Teachers’ Association will assist with development and collection of this survey data through the Alchemer survey platform for the Alberta School Councils' Association.
