Wonowon Community Safety Improvements Survey
The Peace River Regional District (PRRD) is working on an engineering feasibility study to address resident concerns related to the safety of pedestrians and children walking to and from the nearby school, and ways to address the high levels of dust, mud and the roughness of the roads. Specifically, the study will evaluate options and costs for the following along Wonowon Road, Wonowon Subdivision Road and Wonowon Extension Road:
- Development of a trail along the existing road;
- Streetlighting and either the road, trail or both; and
- Upgrades of the existing roads to a hard surface.
As we move through the feasibility, we feel it is important to hear from the residents. The intent of this survey is to gather information that can be utilized moving forward. Please complete and return this survey by the end of day
